I still have my 3.5" disk with Power Tracks Pro on it. THat was my first sequencer! And despite it's old-fashioned-ness, it was, and still is pretty powerful. I wonder why they never went on with developing it in a deeper way than they did. PG Music's Power Tracks Pro Audio - which you probably never even heard of.
It's a $49 app that migrated from old days of midi-only, but never really became the bloatware that some of the others that survive from that era (i.e. Cakewalk) have become.
Has a great notation editor built in. I wish T2 had the same.
Everything else I like better in T2 and it will serve me for a long time.

oh, and ProTools is my second, unless I'm in a session away from my home in a bigger studio sometime. Then it's usually first. But for any work where I choose, it's T2 all the way.
