MACKIE HDR PROJECTS

I reciently upgraded to OS 1.4 and when I open an HDR project in Tracktion, out of 23 recorded tracks, only the snare track shows as a waveform. The names of the other tracks are there in their respective places, but no waveform/audio. I verified all the tracks are there by opening them individually in Peak. Any thoughts?

Do you mean Mac OSX 10.4 ?
I understand there's a T2 bug with that and OSX 10.3 is recommended. T2 isn't the only software with issues.

Hey Chance nice to see you here. Hope things are well. What OS are you using on your computer and is it a Mac or PC? Also does this happen with all HDR projects you have tried or just a particular one?

Hey Ben
I noticed that you were absent from the winter NAMM show ( I wanted to bend your ear ) I am running a MAC G-4 with OS-X ( Panther ) I had problems installing Tracktion and Don Lee spent about an hour and a half and couldn't fix it but he gave me the knowledge of how to fix it.
I just up-graded the HDR from OS 1.0 to the latest 1.4. and now when I open a prj it converts it.(to the 1.4) I moved the prj to the external drive, and put that drive into my G-4 MAC. I tried everything but Tracktion won't import HDR prjs. I did however go to the import midi / audio and I can import the tracks one at a time, and magically they all go in the right spot and all aligned with each other.
I have some questions like how do you delete a project. With all the attempts I made, I have a lot of nothing projects
with Tracktion I want to keep a clean house. I have to confess that Tracktion is the perfect companion to the HDR and am surprised that it isn't advertised that way. I will probably call tech-support Monday early afternoon ( cal time )

Yeah they didn't want to fly me in for Namm all the way from England for some reason. That's strange about your projects. Is it only the converted projects that don't import into Tracktion? Just to be sure you doing it correctly, your making a new empty project in tracktion (usually a good place is in the project folder on your M90 since you have a firewire drivebay it seems) and then opening the blank edit in tracktion, choosing the import mackie.prj project from the import menu, right? If that method isn't working, could you try making a smal test project on your HDR, recording just a few seconds on a few tracks, then then trying the import procedure to see if it works. We tested the HDR import with a lot of different projects but I suppose there could be some type of edit or we forgot about that is preventing the import from succeeding. I'm sure we can get to the bottom of it though.
