I saw they have just released (v. 1.8?) new drivers. I was wondering how T2 is coexisting with the 1820M and the likes. I know there have been some quality control issues with these cards in the past. What's the latest?

welp weird thing with my setup but i either have to disable my firewire or usb ports on the motherboard (abit nforce 2 chipset) and it makes it rock solid for some odd reason. otherwise it crackles alot. but yeah cards rocks if you can get it stable, seems like people are having good luck with the 1.8's.

I've had mine for 6 months or so. I'm still running on 1.6 and I've never had any problems with my 1820M. It's been rock solid for reliability and sounds superb.
Excuse all the blood.

Cpu: AMD Athalon XP 2100+
512 megs of ram
MoBo: Asus A7N8X Deluxe <---I don't recomend this thing
OS: Win XP Home
I mainly use Tracktion 1 under ASIO, almost everything is audio recording and multi-gigabyte sample libraries. When I want synths I usually record the output from my hardware.
Very few softsynths or VST effects make it into my music. That could be part of my success.
