seriously.. not me.. but don't *you* think you're kind of pathetic???

if your dumb ass needs to be programmed to stop bumping into clearly visible solid objects, et c., may i suggest damon edges' chrome.

why?

because, as anyone will tell you, w/o helios, chrome went to shit, so you get 30 minutes of overtly sucky garbage instead of sucky garbage that wants you to think it's the queen.

but then again, civilised people do need to feel that sense of entitlement or they'd be uncomfortably out of place aww diddums

f**king civilised people with chocolate cakes on little doilies coming out they speakers, all perfect and 'ahh, here's my recording, i am now the master because i am the perfect receptor'

you can see the little 'betty crocker' spoon in the corner, dumbfucks ;)
Between all the crack that you smoke and VSTis that you develop, I'm shocked you have any time left to post stupid gibberish like this!

Generally I just work on my own stuff and that does the job. Though one should never underrate Current 93 in this department. Or Roger K's Brighter Death Now.

Oh, and however could I have forgotten

sorry man, the activity of "playing recordings" strikes me as nothing more than the by-product of industrialism, w/o which neither the recordings nor the envaluation thereof would be pertinent..

eg. you've seen those disney films that come out every 5 minutes where the modern kid goes back to king arthur's court and impresses everyone with the power of his righteous portable cd player.. he presses the button, all these techno-primitiv people are AWED by this AMAZING sound

(....)

i'd say more if i thought anyone was listening to what i said instead of what hollywood told them to think ;)

but no! obviously for you morons, it's important to let people know! that you stand against the bad-doers!

but you won't lift a f**king finger of reason to stop yourselves from handing them your money to suck their crap fantastic batman pap. who is the fucknig crack smoking addict "john"

"i just dont see how they can be that evil, after all, theyre americans, like me, they just want pizza??"

i mean, wtf???

Oh shit I dont even know how I forgot portishead

the beginning of 'Roads' is soothing no matter how bad the doldrums are (wish there were no drums, though)

Wandering star, Only you, Mysterons, all good tunes.
roads without drums?
would totally destroy it, portishead is all about the drums, the singer and some backgroundtextures (rhodes and stuff), in THAT order.
oh, and i'm one of those guys that prefer the SECOND album :D
Meh I hate the drums in that song. i usually like portishead drums but I think the song would best with just her voice and that guitar (or rhodes - I cant tell if its rhodes or guitar)

que?

I dont think there is anything wrong with using music to sooth yourself when youre down. It's either that, binaural beat frequencies (being discussed in another thread), meditation or biting the bullet.

I choose music.
