I´ve voted for Brasstrings and as you can see I´ve kicked one s. But this is only an option and depends on the font used for the product. If it looks really good with 3 s, then it´s good.

i like either strumpet or mod. 'brassstrings' is truly awful. it has no character and doesn't 'roll' as a word. 'strinpets' sounds like horrible wriggly things that live in dirty pond water.

the funny thing Cabinfever is that BrassStrings

I am with Cabinfever. The masses are wrong! BrassStrings sounds terrible!!!!
Actually, 'Multimodeler' is pretty good and doesn't lock the product into some sort of identity that suggests pure emulation - also why I like 'Abstract Modeler'
.
My 2 cents is that going with names like 'Brass' or 'Strings' or plays on other such words creates an expectation of authentic emulation, whereas - correct me if I am wrong - the VSTi in question aims at something more experimental by suggesting such sounds through pure synthesis and taking them as starting points for further sonic exploration.

thanks for the feedback, and of course I agree about
to avoid expectation of authentic emulation,
it's not meant for that this one,
Multimodeler is good
but I also like Trombitarras, just wiked as Knagalis,
still some thoughts on

None of the names really grabbed me, but I voted for Multimodeler.
Will you be making any more PM instruments?
If so, you could go for something like Model One (or Modello Uno/Modellino Uno, hope that's right
, had to use online dictionary
) and just change the number for each new instrument.
Edited a few times for spelling and typing mitsakes.

modellonia i quite like. but i also agree with pw that anything which derives its name from a real instument will create expectations. i believe that the 'abstract guitar' suffered badly from its this.
i'm coming around to liking 'trombaritas' only because it's so pompous and silly
perhaps 'the great trombaritas'
bling might deserve a poll place. let's have another vote.
