As soon as I copy these files into my library folder, I can't start the DK+ vst. It crashes. If I remove the files from my library folder, all is well again. Any ideas?

This is the error I get in EnergyXT, but I get it in any host.

yes, on some Windows versions (but we don't know which ones)
you have to limit the number of kit folders inside the library,

try removing some kits that you rarely use, we are working on an update of DK+
to take care of this issue,


so if anybody else got the same problem please temporarely reduce the number of kits inside the DK+
library folder, we'll try to release an update ASAP
to have unlimited kits available,

Nope, that doesn't fix it. As I stated in the e-mail I just sent to you as well, I think it's in the bank.dk+ file. If I remove them from the Ethno folders, it doesn't error.

*EDIT*
Okay, I don't get the error if I remove nearly all the folders but the ethno ones. If I try to load any of the afro_shaker_Ethno_Set_1234.dk+ bank, though, I get errors because it's looking for the files in its default location and not the custom location that I have vsts and the dk+ samples.

Nope, that doesn't fix it. As I stated in the e-mail I just sent to you as well, I think it's in the bank.dk+ file. If I remove them from the Ethno folders, it doesn't error.
I've just sent you an new DLL to try, hoping that works,


does anybody got these new kits working yet?

Hrmm, spamassassin must be eating the file because I have it set to block a lot of attachments due to too many viruses. Can you e-mail me a web link?

I found a temporary solution. I created folder called Ethno in my library folder, and then moved the Cethno folders into that subfolder. DK+ seems to load now and I can manually load the new banks. I'd still like to test that new dll out, though, if you still want me to.

Hrm..don't seem to have a ticket for DK+. I only seem to have one for Knagalis in my saved e-mails. All the DK+ ones were direct downloads.

Yeah..got all the same above and glad I am not crazy ( well..I AM..but another subject) The Ethno set 3 and 4 were the culprits. But the new DLL FIXES IT..so you need the new one for the new sound sets to work..and maybe Luigi was gonna say that any minute now. :-)

Fabulous! The new DLL does work! Man, now I just need me to find some ethnic middle eastern flutes! Hrmm..wonder if I have anything like that between Wusikstation, Manystation and Reason.
