Edit: I've also heard from him, he's updating his AV just to make sure.
Is anyone other than me getting virus scanner hits on recent downloads from Dash? Three installers recently - Eve 1.1, Knagalis for Eve, and DK+ tuned percussion - all flagged with McAfee Enterprise 8.0.0 with today's (6/30/2005) DAT file.
This isn't the first time I've found this, another vendor's software flagged on the installer too. I'm wondering if it's a McAfee false alert issue rather than a problem with the installers themselves - and surprisingly they didn't flag on download, just happened today when I backed up the machine and all the files were read.
Edit: I went to re-download Eve 1.1 and it flagged on the download )-: I still suspect this is a false alarm - I'll try re-downloading in a week with the newest AV DAT file.

Note subject change.
Anyway, the McAfee DAT file for today is ignoring the files that it flagged yesterday, so - as I suspected - it was a bad DAT file. Once Luisi resets my downloads for Eve One I'll get the latest version again and be back to where I started
