when I cancelled the order I called a friend at Akai's service center in Texas (no longer Akai). That's when I found out that Akai was acquired by Numark last August.
Well folks imo (and I have lots to base this on) Numark is the worst music gear manufacturer there is. Now it's coming up to a year...is this what we are to expect from the future? It's my understanding that they have dropped deca-buddy. However I am not sure, but if they have why dont they tell people?
Knowing the customer service and the the lack there of first hand from Numark, combined with this display clearly suggests it would be unwise to ever purchase another Akai product...that saddens me very much...
I did get clone ensemble and this sure opens the door for developers imo to create another great pluggin (nudges Aleksey) for creating harmonies...
) It's worse the money Numark took out of my pocket as a salesman...with returns, crap gear...no matter how much I would try to convince people Numark was bad I still would be the one they blamed when Numark let them down, I lost sales to returns and sales to consistant customers...
