You can drag several files directly from the desktop(or other folder) into tracktion, you can also import several files at once from the projects tab (including the ability to import a whole folder), And maybe tackybrowser will be useful to you http://subminimal.org/tools.php .

:dog: I just realized you're not gonna be able to import multiple files like you want. From the project tab you can import a whole folder, or just one (please dont kill the messanger). When you're within a project you can use Tackybrowser to import multiple files very easily.

I had a simular problem. I could import one track at a time, but not a whole project. On a fluke I dragged the project folder out of the HDR to the desk top, then import to Tracktion from the desk top, and the whole project opened

So can this be done? In Nuendo, you select import audio files (to tracks) and it automatically allocates as many audio files as you like to individual tracks - a MAJOR pain in the arse if you have to do it one by one! Some songs on my album have 40+ audio files!

The easiest way is to just drag them directly from your OS brower, or to use something like TackyBrowser to drag multiple files into your project. They'll be imported one after the other tho, not distributed to tracks.

I sincerly hope this is going to change in the future - anyone know where the feature request thread is?

What sample-rate are the clips at? Tracktion applies SRC automatically behind the scenes if the audio is not at the project rate.. I assume TackyBrowser doesn't.
