Last track I did, I ran multiple instances of K2 because I couldnt figure out the track assignments. I have battery 2 also, and I have that set up for multitimbral..no problem there.
But assigning channels in K2 seems to be ineffective to me. So have you figured it out? or do you run multiple instances of k2 as a workaround.
I mix each instrument seperatly, so I am not into combining MIDI into one track.
Mulitimbral..kontakt 2 w/ T2...your preferences?

yea just womndered if it sucked out too much processin power to do it that way..you really HAVE to go mulitimbral in Battry, because it is a beast, but I guess w/ K2, its different.
So far, I am doing it the same way you are.

It has no impact on my CPU to use multiple Kontakts. There may be some difference but I dont notice it at all. So its probably less than 1%. I definitely wrap Battery in a rack to use all its outputs tho. I'm not about to have a million batteries all over the place for the same kit. Back in the day I had to have several batteries because Tracktion didnt have racks! It was crazy.
