I'm looking for a vst fx from the likes of suppatrigga/buffer overdrive/heizenbox, the kind of plugin that you can use to rearrange, make the audio stutter in mind bobbling ways...
I've actually tried the three above, but even if i think they are great sound mangling tools, i've found them pretty useless when trying to automate them in order to produce a certain pattern (not that i didn't try hard...)
-supatrigga only lets you setup some rearranging probabilities and such, so you don't have any 'real time-controls'
-bufferoverdive sonds pretty much like what i'd like when i use the x/y pad in the lower left corner (anywhere else usually makes a way too much extreme effect for what i'm trying to achieve), but thus makes it really hard to automate, and it easily gets random
-heizenbox i couldn't tell exactly what's my grudge with this one, but somehow it doesn't feel right to me...
Anyone woud have anything else to advise? A friend of mine told me that some reaktor ensembles would do the trick, but the ones he knew of were loop based, and an audio in effect would be way more useful to me (though i guess i can get reaktor session for pretty cheap now
Any insight is welcome
