This is supposed to be for gaming, but I've got it dialed in for Tracktion, as well as video editing and 3D animation software. This thing has four "shift" modes, and can do macros as well.

It's getting to the point where I don't touch my keyboard much anymore except when I need to type some text.

Best $35 (street price) I've spent in a long time.

These are big with some Live users, I guess they must be great for DJing. How hard is it to set up to use with T2? I may look for one on the cheap.

That thing looks awsome.

I got one of these "gaming" keyboards and its speeded up my workflow A LOT. The control pad has two shift modes and can also do macros. I got all the transport controls at my fingertips including abort/restart etc. Good stuff.

A guy I know (www.globalgoon.com) uses one of these with Live - I'd been wondering what the hell it was!

I just saw that thing at Best Buy yesterday (honestly) and my wife and I were playing with it wondering what the hell you're supposed to do with it (it's primary use would be gaming, no?).

Seems like it'd be neat for Tracktion use.

Post

I use it with Audition. You can program your own sets of commands.

You can also find it here .

do you still need a mouse?

Yes, the n52 is a Left-handed keypad. I use it with an ancient Kensington trackball and a Shuttle Controller. (I am right-handed.)

What are "shift" modes? How exactly does one use this thing to make Tracktion more effective?
Anti-aliasing is for "synthmonk%ys".
