Hi.
I have a very big issue with the GUI of Tracktion2.
It seems like everything within GUI is refreshed 1 time (at best) per second - not only the level meters - but all of the plugs GUIs are f**ked up totally (i.e. spectrum analizers and such).
I must close T2 and get back to Tracktion 1 to use any graphical interfaces. In T1 everything works just fine - like it should.
Anyone has some ideas ? Bug ? :scared:
Im working on Sempron 2,2 GHz (its 3000+ or smth), Abit AN7, 1 GB Kingston, 2 x Barracuda 8MB/7200/160 and an old chair. Teddy bear is on the right of the screen.
On 1 track with only one plug (spectrum analizer) everything is fine. Making 4 tracks - and everything is slowed down drasticly.Deleting 3 tracks ... and its still not right...Very strange. And VERY annoying making work a horrible expirience. :nutter:

And another problem - with MDA JX10. No matter what program i choose - when i hit "play" or "record" it changes automagicly to program "20 - Low Pulses". So when i want to record something playing my program i must hit "rec" then change a program, and then play. When i want to "play" - i must do the same (and i want to say, im a hiphoper - YEY! :hihi: ). Rendering and exporting using it is impossible with program other then Low Pulses. This is the best program and i should love it  and use it everywhere or what? :smack:

thanks in advance :band: :hyper:

Problem #1:

Problem #2: select your MIDI input and make sure the 'program' field is set to 'none'. Also select any problem MIDI clips and press 'insert program change' -> 'remove all program change messages from this clip'

I was going to start a thread about T2 GUI being ALOT slower than T1.

Before the $20 upgrade I was quiet happy to use T1 as the tests with T2 showed me that the GUI was way more sluggish than T1. Now I've upgraded I miss that snappier screen.

Please, Please, Please someone look into the GUI comparison between T1 & T2, it DEFINATELY went down hill.

yes, I've noticed song scrolling and the song position bar move alot more choppy than in T1.

Sometimes dragging to expand the filter section or individual tracks can be extremely choppy. Doesn't seem to matter how many tracks/filters are there, it's very choppy. Not a problem on my work machine, which is ironic, as it's a slower graphics card than my home PC. Must be rendered with the CPU, I think.

weird i havent noticed any slowdown.

Ron, your system is already slow. Remember? Your system is the baseline that the downwardly mobile aspire to. :D

Just installed T2 last night (I know, I know...) and noticed that double clicking on a MIDI clip or a track, seems to take a split second to actually expand. Is this just a symptom of general UI sluggishness that folks are complaining about?

Nah...that was sorta there in T1. Expanding a clip always seemed a bit sluggish once a fair number of clips and tracks were in the mix. But it sure hasn't gotten any faster.
