For those interested in step sequencing by keyboard, it is a dream!
Check out how to set it up to work with VSTI's in tracktion!
Requirements: Tracktion, Revisit, and NDCmidi plugs
1. Drag Revisit into a rack
2. Select Instruments
3. Select an instrument number (start with 00)
4. Click on "Pitch/Midi" under instrument info
5. Select the "Output" button
6. Set midi channel to the one you wish to use (start with 01)
7. Switch to Pattern view
8. Click to tracktion
9. Drag a revisit rack to track 1
10. Drag a "Midi channel filter" from ndcMidi after it (match the channel of the instrument to the same number.)
11. Drag a "Midi Channelizer" from ndcMidi after that. (Make sure it's set to 01)
12. Drag any VSTI after that
13. Click back into revisit and play around with the patterns!!!!
I hope everyone can check this out, it is completely amazing, especially for me, who can make songs a LOT faster with a tracker interface than with any sort of midi mousing or keyboarding
