I've listed the "MIDI overdub record creates empty object and simply makes the previously recorded clip longer" bug, but I came accross a couple more.
When I overdub (non-loop) on a MIDI track that already has material on it (like hihats), the underlying previously recorded material does not play back when I record over it. So, in other words, there's not playback while record. But, if I do looped recording, whatever I record within that specific looped session plays back as long as I keep looping. (so playback while record is possible) This makes laying down drum parts pretty hard.
There's no count in for looped recording. This is very strange.. How am I supposed to start playing as soon as push record?
So, anyway, 2 things I felt that was strange. It would really help if someone knew a workaround for the playback while record bug.

Confirmed here. Dont know if its a bug or a unimplemented feature or what.kensuguro wrote:

No work around that I know of. I usually just use the "merge into current clip" mode. And the loop count in, in T1 my work around was to place the playhead towards the end of the loop and have it come back to the beginning. But now the playhead jumps to the beginning of the loop no matter what. So basically before recording midi I have to turn loop off "L", ever single effing time. Its a hassle for sure.kensuguro wrote: There's no count in for looped recording. This is very strange.. How am I supposed to start playing as soon as push record?
