Why the hostility?

i hope none of this was because of me.. heh i dont think ive been hostile, actually ive been the silent one now reeading quietly waiting for my new t2 to come out. im more excited than any of you put together, that is, if those other plugs will come out. im just happy and loving t2 and mostly its because of revisit and t2 and love and happiness. im just happy. Come out upgraaaade we wont bite!

So i would love to see a thread in any forum were i flamed a FR or a BR like you guys constantly do, Because someone says something to me that is completly out of order in a thread i started (Which was a fun thread) i have to bite my lip and be the good little Mackie soldier,Well bollox to that and bollox to Mackie if that is the case, It is quite easy to go round every forum and Diss Mackie which up to this point i haven't done but to be honest this is turning into the same shit Will K was doing and the reason i split NAS's partnership with him, Peoples points are valid even if you dont like them, Argue all you like but please dont enforce this our way or no way shit.
I'm acbsolutly stunned that Beno closed this thread if that is what you are suggesting, The thread was taken on a tangent by others and because i have defended him and then myself it has been closed, Hosility is more than due in this forum because there are so many high and mighty fools.
Dont worry i wont post here if defending yourself is seen as subversive.

I would go so far as to say the problem is more of a lack of civility.

I think about that thread and wonder if I should have simply ingnored it like I've become accustomed to doing over the last year?

The forum just isn't as constructive as it once was. Unfortunately, the quieter posters have all gone silent or left completely after being ingnored or insulted. That's sad because some of those people had important things to contribute.

Mackie could do better but that's no excuse for treating each other so badly.

NAS, I closed it because it was riddled with attacking posts at each other that weren't even about the PC vs Mac debate. I don't care if a thread goes on a tangent, but there is no need to attack people for stating an opinion. And also, I am not directing this at you. I don't even remember who was posting in that that thread, but the content of the posts just stopped being constructive and started being hostile and that is when a thread gets locked.

As long as we're on the subject, I'd like to apologize to NAS for being so defensive.

I concede that it's possible you were not personally attacking me with your comments on Mac users. I very easily could have and should have ignored that.

For my part, I turn over the entire issue of support, Windows, Mac and otherwise, to Mackie. It's their responsibility. They need to convince us that they are paying attention.
