Tracktion and Playlists

We need to mix audio with MIDI control codes. We want to play a series of songs in a theater venue. Does Tracktion support a playlist of songs we can play with pauses in between? I've looked through the reference manual, but can't answer my question. Thanks to anyone who can help!

The problem isn't that easy to solve! Common media players cannot mix audio & MIDI. In best case they can deal with them in a serial way: Winamp could play an audio clip followed by a midifile. But at the *same* time it is impossible and needs a sequencer-like software.
I remember that once Mastertracks Pro had a kind of playlist. But a) I don't know if it supported pauses and b) didn't early versions of MTP support audio at all...
So IMHO the best possible solution is: you *need* an operator who starts in the tunes in the right time. Tracktion has a fairly good project management, so it makes life a little easier. But in the end you could use any (sequencer) software you like!

Yes, it can be done with several sequencing programs; anything from Cakewalk on the PC, and ProTools or even Metro on the Mac. We wanted to find a sequencing program that would support audio (most of the backing tracks for theater are not midi files), allow the sending of MIDI control codes (programming our digital mixer and the light board) and finally, a program which is cross-platform compatible. We were hoping Tracktion was it, but if it won't support a playlist or sequential playback, we'll need to keep looking.
