Hey everyone,
I have the boxed version of T2 installed and want to update to the new version just released. Umm...do I need to uninstall the prevgious version including everything in the documents and settings folder or do I just eed to double click the new update and install over the top? If I do so, will it retain all my settings without a problem? Will I also need to re register with the keyfile at this point? And will it keep my installed copies of Sampletank and RMIV?

Same with me amd I just finished my first recording with it. Works greatl for me, however I do need to do some sound deadning on the walls of this office painted over paneling is exposed and I need to soften it up some.
I am well pleased with the the vocal considering I am hoarse. I used the Entertainers Secret and it helped a lot.
I used the Final Mix in the new upgrade, not a problem but a lot to learn about it. There were 6 EQ's to use in it to, I wonder how many were in the original? I never got to it before the upgrade. I have a long way to go to catch up with you fine folks.
I could stay up all night and play with this great program but all good days must come to an end so we can have a better one tomorrow. That will be recording the radio progam.
I even made a template for it and can't wait to try it out.

Just trying to learn about recording, that is if my head is not too hard.

Actually there are 12 bands of EQ in Final Mix (6 pre-dynamics and 6 post) and there always was!

This should be explained in the release notes available on your my.mackie.com download page.audiobot202 wrote:Hey everyone,

Got it. For the record, it only says that one installs over the top of the old version. I did that and it worked fine. All plugs are still there, but my own projects did not show up automatically in the file browser until I opened them up.

This is wierd. I went to the download, and it took me to the "my profile page" and all my information was there EXCEPT Mackie products ! I registered my HDR in 1999 and registered Tracktion only a couple of months ago. How can I get to the Download section ?
When I registered Tracktion, I recieved the rebate form.

That sounds like your profile is messed up on their servers. It might be a temporary thing. I'd email mackie support or somesuch personally.

Is it really necessary to get in someone else's face like this?IIRs wrote:take it here, if you think you're hard enoughMarioC wrote:Noticed your sig line, to each his own.
If you have some weird problem with the evidence for the being or non being of pan dimensional entities, then please keep it to yourself.

I started a thread in HPC so we wouldn't have to mess up this one.audiobot202 wrote:Is it really necessary to get in someone else's face like this?IIRs wrote:take it here, if you think you're hard enoughMarioC wrote:Noticed your sig line, to each his own.

Hi, Steve,
So you went for the boxed set after all. What do you think of it?
I've just downloaded the update (oh, for broadband)and I'm glad I saw your question before installing it. I've got a huge project ready to be mixed up and I don't want anything to go wrong right now!
Cheers,mate.
