Tracktion Software

i'm new to home recording. i have a presonus firebox, tracktion 2, running on an amd 2700+ xp, 2.66 ghz, and 1 gb of ram.

i'm looking for good sounding vst drums, as well as a good synth. any suggestions?

If you want more specific advice you'll need to mention what kind of price range you are looking for, and what kinds of synth sounds, and drum sounds you want.

Not quite VST drums, but for free I like sfz soundfont player VST coupled with nsk_kit7 free soundfont.

true, but remember teh boxed T2 comes with RMIV, which is also a very good drum machine.

I also use DR-008 more than any other plug I have except EWQLSO. But it's used on EVERY track I do. But, the RMIV is pretty good also. Not my personal preference, but I still have it there in case I need it.

before i used dr008 i was hooked on the really neat one called Twitch, its free not sure where it is now
