Yeah..pretty sure I can hold my own there mate. Besides, I think you'll find that 'debate' pretty commonplace throughout history. There are plenty of meaningful statements on the matter. Far more than you'd find here I'd suggest. Maybe try a different forum?IIRs wrote:I started a thread in HPC so we wouldn't have to mess up this one.audiobot202 wrote:Is it really necessary to get in someone else's face like this?IIRs wrote:take it here, if you think you're hard enoughMarioC wrote:Noticed your sig line, to each his own.

!!!! What did I do wrong?
I'm lucky I tried it first on my non-audio Windows boot, but updating this newest version on top of the old ERASED ALL MY PLUGIN REGISTRATIONS. I need to install all my regged plugins again now on this secondary setup
How to avoid this on my main system? I
I might have had an older T2 version on the non-audio boot, could this be the reason?

I haven't heard this from anyone else. What plug-ins did it deauthorize out of curiosity. I can't imagine anything we're doing in the installer screwing with the system in such away that your machine ID changed. Was tracktion still authorized out of curiosity?pakana wrote:merely bumpsing... anyone else experienced this?

Thanks for replying.
De-authorized plugins: DMI Foorius, Waldorf Attack & PPG Wave v2, Izotope Vinyl, Dashsignature daHornet and maybe some others I can't recall now. I didn't get any messages telling that Tracktion was unauthorized, and didn't have monitors on so can't tell if it hissed at me
I will examine the issue more once I get home, at the moment I'm bit wary about updating my main system.

Interesting - Tracktion is still indeed registered, but none of the plugins that need authorizing are
Waldorf plugs even disappeared from the list.
I hope this is just a version conflict, as I can confirm now that I updated from the first available version of T2, not from the previous one... but I might have made a mistake at another point - I seem to have only one registered machine number on mymackie, even though T2 is installed and unlocked on two separate boots - any thoughts?
I would really like to avoid re-registering my plugs on the main sys, there are more and it's an W2K boot without internet connection.
