Try moving your plugins from your plugin folder and see if it starts up? If so, put them back a few at a time and see which one is causing the problem. If it isn't that, try running software update.

Not sure if this is related to the above problem but T2 .13 just unexpectedly quit on me. I just loaded a 'known' song ( created in T2 and ok in v.4) and pressed play... no sound.. flicked the destination output of one of the tracks.. sound comes back (all garbled).. then Tracktion totally disappears!
Very strange.
I had noticed that the rack intialisation bug seemed to have come back in T2.13 (ie. no output on loading an edit for the first time until you toggle a track output destination. This was in T1 1.6 but has fixed for T2).
I'm thinking of going back to T2.4 for the time being

Not for me it wasn't. .4 was every bit as bad .13 in this regard.Mr. Tingle wrote:This was in T1 1.6 but has fixed for T2).

For edits created in T1 there was no change in T2 in regard to this bug, but with totally new edits creadted in T2 there has been no rack initialisation bug (at least for me).valley wrote:Not for me it wasn't. .4 was every bit as bad .13 in this regard.Mr. Tingle wrote:This was in T1 1.6 but has fixed for T2).

I also had strange behavior with the new update.
I installed the update, went into a edit created in T2, made a copy of a rack (ctr and drag filter from one track to the other), clicked on the track with the new copied filter (to go to name it), and bang! traction was gone!! I tried this several times in different edits with the same results.
There was nothing in the rack it was there just to rout my audio to the spdif of my rumour reverb unit.
I discovered this just as I started a recording session, so I quickly did a system restore, and went back to recording.
