Just wondering if there is any sort of tempo display, instead of click click we could have a visual plug that changes color or something per click or bar or whatever... my clients sometimes get off beat because i dont know, but i tihnk a visual vst in my 2nd monitor would really help.... anything like that out there?

Just loop a midi clip that has a single note at the beginning and route it through a VU meter. Then select the VU meter and you there's your visual representation of the tempo.

Hi there...
Some time ago I asked xoxos to make this very thing for me. He came up with a vst that plays very nicely with Tracktion. It's a white square with a black circle that flashes to the beat. The "on" time of the circle can be adjusted. The gui cannot be resized but it is clearly visible a good distance.
I don't think xoxos would mind if I shared this. I can pm it if someone wants to host it for others. It will take a little time for me to get it on the internet.

If your clients can't keep the tempo using a click track I am affraid a visual metronome wouldn't help (must be some science behind this statement but I am not sure). However a virtual animated maestro would be cool
If I go insane, please don't put your wires in my brain

i'm workin' on a visual metronome (bars : beats : beat fraction and plain time visualizer hour:minutes:seconds:milliseconds) in SynthEdit...
the thing is that the video and sound sincronization isn't perfec ..but it can help tell you where you are
