I thought that "noisia" or whatever theyre called were supposed to be like the hottest thing ever to hit the DnB scene? No?
noisia? who?

Anyways i agree that modern uk DnB is bland, and no good. That's because DnB has shifted to the staes. Check Dieselboy's new label, project human. some of this new shit is top notch, IMO.

joke at zero-G if want. They saved us amen-user's asses. Did you listen to what he said at the end?

I liked it...a zen like approach. If you made it to the end you'd see that he some serious points to make. If he had candy ravers jumping around with glowsticks in the video it would be hard to take it seriously.
the tb-303 video on that site shows that but its even more interesting, imo

ok i went back to it, gave it another chance and this time finished it off while lying on the couch. i think it's a very deep project and it's very true that over protecting copyrights will stifle innovation.
i took a look a closer look at the source of the production and realized that this is created as installation art and nate harrison is involved in the museum scene
top marks

can anyone tell me what the skull snaps break is?

ummm ken burns is the famous american biographer who has done documentaries on phenomenons such as Baseball and most recently Jazz. his series come in like 10 parts and are shown on PBS. the way he timelines the history of jazz in itself speaks messages, sometimes dark ones.
for example he ended the Jazz documentary with Miles Davis dabbling into Bitches Brew and performing at Monterrey Pop(i think that's the fest)... and he ties that in with Louis Armstrong passing away. Thus, the whole documentary suggests that fusion jazz was the end of jazz. that is quite insulting to many people, myself included.

..sounds pretty interesting. I'll have to check and see if I can rent that on netflix.

jazz ended with jazz fusion? I thought it died with kenny G , then Yanni providing the eulogy.

well it should because it started in UK, but teh uk's DnB now has been raped by Pendulum (though theyre from Australia. The world tends to consider all non-american DnB to part of the UK). UK DnB tends to have cheap melodies and weak leads/bass today, when US DnB just went darker and harder.

Zero-G has the legal permission to distribute and lisence all their breaks which is what saved our asses. They are completely legal.

i dont know how it works. It explains so at the beginning of all their libraries (which i wouldnt know because i dont own any). Somehow they got the lisence to lisence it with all ther libraries?
