Hi,

I am working with a very simple bop bap brum patterns with hi hats in 8's and every now and again for no reason it just send the timing of one of the hi hats or the drums off kilter.

I.e. it just puts a note here or a note there out my a few milliseconds.

Any ideas????? Help!

JV :)

Also when I loop 4 bars it is putting a little gap at the end of the loop. Which means the loop does not connect to itself correctly? Any idea whats might be going on?

FYI my equipment is as follows..

Laptop 500MB Ram -- Win XP -- Tascam US428 -- Roland Triton Rack

Is this midi going out to your triton or is it triggering an internal softsynth?

Teh click track is recorded as a tracktion midi clip channel 1. It is being assigned to tascam us428 midi output 1. which is then going into triton rack midi input 1. Triton rack is the sound source. Maybe 1 in 15 notes are dropped or put out of time....

Maybe ,you'll try VST2MID from Tobybear Midibag collection

you'll be suprised :o

Yeah, also try routing it a simple drum VST. If the timing improves, then it is a known issue with external midi on some machines that we are working on.
