just wondering how volume controls work in t2 with you know the dedicated mackie control...? does it operate the per clip gain? or does it just use the volume filters?

it's not mmc, it's using the control surface message interface. if you set your tracktion control surface to a midi port with a pitchbend controller connected to, you can try it out for yourself. the pitchbend on the first 8 midi channels correspond to volume control of the appropriate track (only the first 8 - tho which 8 are used depends on the currently selected 8.. default this is the first 8, but the 8 can be shifted along by either 1 or 8 using other midi messages). channel 9 controls the master volume.
Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.

oh ok neat. so i guess i would need tascam us429 support to access all the volume banks, jsut like how it works in audition. im still wishing we could have a wider range on those volume sliders because sometimes im recording someone for bgv or something with lower EQ's which need extra boosts, i cant use the clip gains because its live recording... i dont know :D

FYI, MCU uses Pitch bend for channels 1-8, and 9 for master for the folume control. Bitch bend is higher resolution then MIDI CC so this gives you higher resolution.
