In the advertisement on the mackie website, it mentioned a "channel strip" plug-in as part of it's dynamic suite of plugins for tracktion 2. Anybody what happened to this plugin? Was it a typo?

Me too, I'm so pissed of I could kill a cow.
Well, actually I could care less, it will be out when it's ready. Until then there are tons of alternatives out there.

You can use whatever plugs you want, mix and match compressors and eqs etc. IMO although I'm glad there's a channel strip coming, ultimately racks are more flexible. Anyway, as a workaround until you get the native plugs, you should be able to survive. What if the native plugs don't meet your needs, what are you gonna do? excuse me no im not crazy ive been working with mixing for clients and i really need a nice EQ. the nice eq is on the channelstrip. which is why i want it. people told me to wait and hold off on buying a new EQ which is what i wanted to do, till this comes out.

There are plenty of nice eq's out there. Even freeware. How many clients are you dealing with in the next couple of weeks anyway?
