My setup
-2.6 GHz AMD 2700+
-1 GB RAM
-80 GB HD
-Presonus Firebox
-Tracktion 2
Yesterday I purchased a e-mu xboard25. It's my first attempt at using a midi keyboard. I read the tracktion pdf on using midi instruments, to include putting the midi instrument filter first on the track.
I'm still not hearing any output through the speakers, and no audio is being recorded when I hit record on the track.
HELP!?
Thanks for any and all help.

Just double checking:
1. You have selected your MIDI Keyboard as an Input device in the "Settings" tab? It is visible in the list as a green entry?
2. On your edit, the MIDI keyboard appears as a draggable icon on the left of the screen and you can moved it close to a track so that an arrow appears on the icon?
3. You have selected "e-to-e"? (as Mr. Tingle suggested)
4. When you press keys on the keyboard, the input meters on the input icon display whilst the notes are pressed?
