ya, right channel here too actually.

And release trail stuff that ends in the right channel based on left channel source.

This only happens in playback mode. Not rendered- i had to put the voxengo recorder after the final mix to actually record the flaw.

Here is a link to an example:

I have the same problem as Juke.

Post

Same problem as Juke aslo. Here is my description:

I have 24 bit/44.1 stereo tracks I am trying to export and render as 16 bit/44.1 tracks so I can burn them to a cd.

After I export, the new 16 bit track distorts terribly and Only on the Right channel. This problem seems to be new with the new update of Traction 2.

I have tried the real time render, and deselecting dither. Neither made a difference.

I am using the Final Mix and Peak Master plug-ins. I found when I disable Final Mix the distorion goes away. The Final Mix plug-in is the only reason I purchased this program so I hope this can be fixed.

Any Ideas?

Thanks,
Martin

This might sound crazy, try setting up your reverb as a send on a seperate track!!!

Ditto here, same problem with the new FM: wherever I put it (filter/master, after/before other filters), signal gets distorted only on my right track, even with new user presets.

valley, it indeed sounds very like a denorm' issue, but I'm all AMD (and I tried using low-noise without success).

Anyway, ATM, I have my e-mu card to battle with, so I'll meave this issue ... an issue.

I also am having issthues with Final Mix.

I get the crackling mainly on the right side but it is also audible in left as well. All presets etc. etc.

Pull it out and the audio is fine. CPU indicator doesn't rise more than 4-6%. (Guessing there but it isn't much)

The system is not stressed at all.

Don't mean to repeat myself, but just replace the updated 'buggy' version of FM with a previous version of final mix as a short term fix, until this issue is resolved. I'm using the T1 FM in T2 with no problems.

Thanks for the tip. I extracted an older version of FM from a previous T2 demo and it works a treat.

This is really strange stuff. I really can't reproduce it. Can someone please post a small edit and directions for reproduction. And would everyone with problems post their system details? Thanks,
Ben

Just recovered my tracktion 2 version 1 final mix and sure enough, it does work well.

Just a/b'd between old and new to confirm as well. old fine, new broken.

(old DLL version 1.1.6 - new dll version 1.1.8 )

(edited the version - it was tracktion 2 version 1, not tracktion 1)
