Hello
I want to record some tracks using Tracktion2 and NI FM7 Xpress plug-in. I follow these steps:
I select it as a filter.
I can hear the sound when I press the FM7 keyboard with the mouse (can I use the PC keyboard to enter more than one note at the same time?).
I can see the general level meters working and I push the record button.
When I finish I have a yellow exclamation mark on the track noticing me that I have to select a destination output for this track to can hear the audio clip, but I get no sound even when destination outputs for the tracks are set to default audio output.
What I am doing wrong? I haved try with another VSTi like BroomBass Stick and I have the same problem.
Please I need help.
Thanks

YOu can't "record" a VST or VSTi. What you are probably recording is silence from an analogue input on your soundcard.
If you do not have a MIDI controller keyboard, create a new MIDI clip on the track, place some notes in it, and press play.

No. There are plugins (such as my own MKey) that allow you to use the PC keyboard as a piano keybaord, but due to limitations of the PC keyboard itself, chords are typically not possible.can I use the PC keyboard to enter more than one note at the same time?

Incidentally, MKey is indispensible, download it and give it a try. It's limited, but if you don't have a keyboard or are on a laptop in a hotel room, it's great.
