Hey,
just wondering if there could be a better visual way to see routing... mixbusses etc. because i just ran into a problem with adding tracks and etc etc, and it ended up that they were all mixed up in routing. Would there be a better way, such as colored areas where it says the track name?
it could be like a darker shade of red for the children tracks and a bright red for parent tracks.

I think we should make "Folder Tracks" the new "Rack Filters" where we all talk about them non-stop till they show up.

only if you promise to do a folder track tune.

I'm not a super-user, so I may have misused the terminology. Basically, loops that can be dropped and auto-fit right into a track, rather than have them hosted by a plug-in that's triggered by MIDI. Yuk. I hate that. Drives me nuts.AD80 wrote:Timeline loop support?Lunch Money wrote:Heh, I agree. Folder tracks are probably my number 1 request right now, with timeline loop support running a close second.

Oh you mean host tempo loop previewing? Like Acid, or Live? That would be very cool. But pretty useless without a better Timestretch algo. I'd be extremely happy with folder tracks, lockable track sizes, and ghost midi clips.Lunch Money wrote:I'm not a super-user, so I may have misused the terminology. Yes, like in Acid. The word "previewing" is throwing me off, though. I mean in the actual construction of a track. I have my loops that are 120 bpm, and I line them up side by side in Tracktion in a project that's at 115 bpm. The loops are stretched to the correct interval.
And yup, I agree-- useless without better timestretch. But I'm looking at all the sub-requirements, too.

Got it. Acid lets you preview loops with the right tempo, in addition to locking them to tempo in the edit automatically. So its all good with loops. T could definitely use some functionality like this.Lunch Money wrote:Yes, like in Acid. The word "previewing" is throwing me off, though. I mean in the actual construction of a track.
