PDC issue when rendering powercore plugs

I recently had a scary moment when I exported a mix making heavy use of my Powercore plugs, the rendered file had serious timing errors that sounds very much like PDC not being propery calculated. Playback of the edit in T2 was not an issue, only the rendered file. I made several changes, and did finally export the mix successfully, but I don't know which of the following helped:

- I reduced my Audiophile buffer to 512 (I had it at 2048 to mix)
- Restarted the machine
- Reduced the number of active PC plugs

Anybody else run into a similar issue, or know what may have caused it?

I got a good deal on the Powercore Element PCI since it's discontinued. For less than $400 I can run a bunch of great eq's, comps and reverbs with almost no CPU usage, so it was much more economical than upgrading my CPU and buying good reverb VST's.

I haven't used the voice modeler yet, but I will be doing vocal tracks over the next few weeks, just waiting on a new microphone...

But I'm still curious as to what would screw up PDC when rendering from T2!

Did you try rendering at 1X Speed?
perception: the stuff reality is made of.

Yes...this solution by itself didn't solve the problem, although with the combination of steps I took above, it ultimately worked.

Still mystified...
