Select the envelope. Choose "delete points from curve>delete all points from curve" in the properties area.

Make a new track. Select all clips on the old track. Move them to the new track. Delete the old track.

There might be a way to select all automation curves, but I don't have T booted up and I'm in the middle of installing some new gear.

to toggle the automation for individual filters would be useful for A/B comparision type things.

How about deleting the filter that they all correspond to? Then add it back?

deletes the settings... you'd have to first save a preset then - not the easiest workaround, is it?
