I have the Akai MPD16. It works fine in t2. I am using it w/ Guru. In T2, I can go to a GURU track and hit the A button. I see the Guru automation buttons for diferent things like pitch bend..etc. I have that selected. How do I map the AkaiMPD's Slider to pitchbend? Or really anything I want? I have done this on the oxygen, and I have forgotten already how I did it!

Did you enable its input as an external controller by any chance? (settings tab)
if so, de-enable it.
if so, de-enable it.

Try recording that input to a track while twiddling the slider, and see what (if any) data its putting out.. possibly its set up to transmit sysex instead of CCs or something.

i noticed that when i wasn't recording w/ the akai, the automation was stil on and it was doing its own kind of automation (quick effects movements)everytime the high notes would hit..it was odd.
