Plugin parameters not adjusting

I had a project I have been working on for about 3 weeks. All of sudden, last night, and today again, when I try to adjust parameters for the plugins, they are not staying put. For example, the reverb ROOM parameter was last saved with a value of 6 - when I try to lower it to 2, it doesn't stay and goes right back to six. Same as when I try to change eq values with the 4-band eq. When I try to raise or lower the slopes they just go right back to their previously saved values. I've tried this during playback, and when stopped, same result. These are plugins that come with Tracktion; Delay, reverb, etc. Any ideas?

p.s I have Tracktion 2, but not the latest release.
