Hooking up T2 w/ FLstudio..questions

I'm sure many here have discovered some of the things that FL does suprisingly well.

Well, I'm a fan of it's quantization. I'd like to get my hats quantized and set up in FL. Then I'd like to record that exact midi stream into T2 and import it into Battery where I can do more w/ the sound selection.

So..I know what I'd like to do, how do i do it? When I record w/ FL, it doesn't leave audio or MIDI data. So far I have it synced up to t2. I also put FL in a rack. If I can get it to spit out the MIDI and move that into Battery that would be awesome...any ideas?

Also any other cool things you use FL for in tracktion, please post.
