Ive always thought a "disable ALL VST" button would be very very helpful...especially if you are doing your tracking in long stages(days or weeks), and mix as you add new parts.

I see how it could be usefull as for situations you described. I thinking grouping or folder tracks or VCA groups could be a much better solution but this could be usefull too. I don't think it should be too hard to add either so I'll add it to the list. I think will.record.for.food's idea was really cool though and I definitely see that being useful to a larger range of people and situations.

Yes, I did. And I admitted that the new features you asked for were useful. But muting ALL is still pointless, despite your explanation. Obviously you didn't read MY follow up very carefully.jv2222 wrote:I guess you didn't read my explanation above then.Lunch Money wrote: Mute/unmute all is STILL completely useless. You will always want to hear at least one track, right? When you press solo, all other tracks are muted. And if you want to unmute all, it's already there. Right click the filter and restore all muted/soloed tracks.

mute all = shhhhhh & solo all = solo none
but i dont mind if thay add it! just get them to fix the fliping solo to work like it should!!!
maby a 2'nd solo option that only solos & dosent free up any cpu would be easyer to implemt than fixing the currant solo
if i solo a bus i here nothing intill i solo 1 or all feeds to that bus
