Having done some mapping and programming now I think some extra sample slots would turn, what is already an excellent drum machine into something really special.

In mapping the ns_kit7_free the 24 pads were more than enough, but I struggled to convert the patterns I sequenced in eXT to DK+ because of only having the 10 slots - though I'm not looking for 24, maybe 12 - 16?

Anyway, great product, very intuitive to use, really looking forward to future developments. I really like the "humansiation" features and I'm find it quite easy to get a "human" feel using the various randomisation features.

Excellent stuff!

Trev :)

thanks for the feedback and your support Trev, <grin>

we'll add some more tracks, we're also planning
other features for the sequencer, you'll see

news:

in collaboration with Funk Equipment we are preparing a big expansion pack
with 4 acoustic drums kits:

each instruments got 10 velocity layers,
all samples are stereo 24 bit

here a demo from each kit,
the tracks are mastered thru compressor and reverb
like you usually record drums

good?

each kit will be sold separately for about 20 USD,
one kit is made of 2 kicks 2 snares 2 hihats
3 toms and 3 cymbals

each instruments got 10 velocity layers,
all samples are stereo 24 bit

download is about 90 MB per kit (compressed WAVs)

Bugger. And I just made two GM compatible(ish) kits using Funk Equipment Kits 2 & 5 - but with maximum of 6 layers. Which kits are you using?

Also just finished making kits for Wizoo Basic and Funk kits last night.

Hi Ligih

How are the Funk Kit expansion sets coming along? Do you have an estimated time of release?

I'm also looking forward for these acoustic kits.

Hi,

yes, they should be ready for half October

thanks

I would love more patterns. I'm not exactly a great digital drummer, even with the step sequencer. More patterns would be really, really handy for me. Heck, I'd pay for pattern packs. As far as genre, any would work -- from techno to jazz. Never know what you might need.
