I know what you mean - it was the nanny-state BB. I don't mind when a moderator kicks off a troll, or if personal attacks are censored, but jeez-louise, often just simple opinions were squelched.

Methinks that a coupla the moderators got some sorta power-rush along with their admin priveledges. I'd hate to see what they woulda been like if they became cops in the real-world.

Still, it was a useful community...

hmmm looks ok ,, i joined up .... but it's pretty new, who knows where it will go, and it seems more slanted at "engineers and producers" than musicians ... I, for one, look forward to getting OSXAudio back, as I like the levels of discussion with the particular community there, as well as having a lot of the developers themselves round (even if they're a bunch of POTHEADS :D )

Hey Fuc, I didn't know you were such a sweetheart. I'm sure that Tony is glad to know who he can count on when he's down.

The good thing about certain 'disasters' is that they allow for a natural weeding.

Sometimes I am, you're right. It's hard not to do when you get past 40 (I'm 42). I will work on it, though, as it's obviously a flaw.

Actually, given that I do really well financially doing what I've always loved (making music), have lots of friends, and have an incredible wife that I've loved for nearly 12 years now, the tag 'loser' doesn't quite seem to stick to me (for now, at least!).
Ned, you're freakin me out. I could have wrote that, same numbers (if "well" counts as a number;-)
