Hi folks...

WOW!!
the demos are unbelievable!!! great performance !
and Jordan again shows why HE is the king  :D

hope to get to see more stuff like that in the future ?! maybe featuring other acts as well ? (personally I'd currently be interested in GARBAGE ;)

can you tell us which plugins had been used in the orchestral demos ? (e.g. part 7 was it VSL already ? or EastWest ?!)

and I get to rub it in some more..Cause he played the silver synth patch..when he talked about Crystal and Free Alpha. YIPEE!( Just brought up silver synth on my own receptor to make sure :-)

Actually..all the videos were great and it was a joy to see him play..nice splits too. makes me wonder how he uses receptor and how he sets it up for his own performance requirments..does he make his own Multi-patches and setups? it would be interesting on how the "pro's" do it.

yes of course...
he intensively works with splits and velocity switches (I suppose...;)
that's the way I do it as well - that's very important for a rich and interesting live performance.
and that's not just "split zone 1 VST 1" and "split zone 2 VST 2"...
it's much more detailed...
e.g. on just ONE key there's a special sound/effect or soemthing... maybe I have a VST on just 3 keys on my keyboard... (e.g. see jordans video/orchestral... on one key he has a horn - that horn-patch is only on that key... same to the jazzy-tune... there he has a double bass slide for the beginning of the walking bass (or maybe it's controlled by velocity.. depends on the patch)... and that's the way he/I and maybe some others more create their unique setup...

Song 9 - Spectrasonics Atmosphere, Native Instruments Guitar Rig.

Part 2. Song 1 - Native Instruments FM7, among others.

Part 3. Song 1 - Spectrasonics Trilogy and Atmosphere, East/West Quantum Leap Symphony Orchestra Gold Edition.
