sorry, i've been tackling a bug in it, and - as you know - i'm still working hard on another project too.
i need to squish this bug and make sure it works as it should then i'll put it out there. when i've done that, i'll add some really basic midi control to it to at least give something extra to play with, before i look at more sophisticated control over it.

okay, got a 'finished' version, that has multiple pages and variable font size/face per page. here's a screenshot:

Download PC TrackPAD v1.9
a few things to bear in mind:
the 'list' part currently only shows a number that's generated depending on how many pages there currently are, so if you start deleting and adding pages, the order will start to look a bit weird! you can't currently change what's shown, but i'll get to that and probably let you name your pages.
also, i'm aware that the delete button is quite close to the resize tab, so i might put up a warning when you click it. it's not presented any problems to me tho, it's obvious which thing you've got your mouse over and i'm sure noone's that careless as to actually delete a page by accident... still, let me know what you think/want.
midi control and an alternate list mode will come later, for now you can just make do with multiple pages and variable fonts
PS sorry i don't have a mac so can't compile it for that. hopefully Mod will be less busy soon and able to compile it for me.

not sure what kind of thing you want for midi control? i guess there could be keys for next/prev, but i might well bung my midi-learn engine in there and let you rightclick->learn a midi note to change to a particular page. let me know any ideas you may have.

please try it and let me know that it works for you
oh yeah, forgot to mention, the fonts you can choose from are the three standard types, rather than all the fonts... noone wants to put wingdings in, right?
it just gives you the system default serif, sans serif and monospace fonts.

First I got the big blue screen of death... I bet it is cause I tried to open a project that already had Trackpad Instances and I had simply renamed version 1.9 "Trackpad". About the font issue, I created a font for doing "Nashville Number System" chord chards I would love to use someday. There are some other cool music fonts out there like fret board fonts. Anyway thanks so much Haydxn!

Any chance this will work with other hosts, or are there specific calls to T for color scheme or something? I recall Mod's version didn't like other hosts.

@braj- i've tried it only with T and eXT as they're all i have on my pc, and if there's no scheme found it just uses a default scheme. eXT runs it fine for me here. the scheme is looked for in a file, it doesn't ask T anything so there shouldn't be a problem, but there should never really be a problem with anything, right?

WOW it is great! I love the way the font sizes change so you can quickly maximize the content to fill the text area. Man it really really really rocks.
