now that it's working with the new xml-based patch storage method, any changes i make to it should still be okay reading what you have saved with this version. xml is neat like that

Works in EnergyXT as well - a great update. Thank you.
I still wish for a RTL support, but I guess that's alot of work and does not interest that many people.

When you say 'not so great' how so? I don't have a clear idea what the plug is supposed to do at this stage.pHz wrote:working great in T2 ... not so great in live 5 (im guessing live doesnt pass keypresses to plugins) ...

Oh, now I get it. It isn't taking any text in Live.pHz wrote:working great in T2 ... not so great in live 5 (im guessing live doesnt pass keypresses to plugins) ...

As for key presses, -daniel's 'Porte Plume' plug takes text in Live. So I wonder what's wrong
BTW, you can paste text just fine.

sorry guys, it's not really possible for me to focus on the keyboard focus issue. i see the problem in live with the demo i just installed. very odd that it's happy with mouse focus but it's not getting the keystrokes.. if any ideas come to me in a flash i'll try them, but i've more important work to get on with for now.
when i get more time i'll do another update, i've got many things in mind to implement, and they should work happily with anything you save in this version so don't be afraid to use it
til the bug gets fixed, i guess you'll have to make do with notepad for actually typing if you're using live/cubase, and paste it into the window. everything else seems to work fine
at least your text is there in your project. sorry about that guys

That's fine, most people probably write lyrics somewhere else first anyway.haydxn wrote:

This looks so good for lyrics. I'm wondering about how to best handle chords. I'm wishing for a way to highlight the chords when they are playing. All the chords in a measure being highlighted at once would be plenty sufficent. Would cells (like a spread sheet) that highlight by measure be hard to do? At this point there is no highlighting of course of anything... So I am just throwing out ideas.

Ron ideally I would like to have a modern computerized system of displaying the chords in the way they are done in the Nashville Number System. In that system (which the session players around here all know and use) the lyrics don't even go on the charts.

BTW what Haydxn has already done by allowing the mono font has already made it possible to display the chords pretty well. I am very thankful!
