If you drag the T2 cursor while your edit is playing the resulting sound, captured with something like Tape It, can used as instrument so to speak. Check out this sample

This is probably old news to most of you, but I just discovered it. :D - s

Yes, I hear what you did, I don't do what you did exactly, but I use the same concept.

With this technique; If I hear a snippet of a sound that catches my ear I go back and hold the cursor at the exact spot while letting it play. I will move it around untill I get the a good spot so it repeats maybe a 1/16 or 1/32 whatever it does when it skips. Then size the clip that much and loop it. Yeah, its a cool trick, I do allot, not like what you do but I will try it, it sounds good.

i find it neat to dbl-click drag the cursor over an audio clip, it lets you scrub over the sound and find where you want to, for example, cut - you can press the '/' key while you're doing this. a mega-neat feature :)
Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.

I have a better one,
you load 5 of the worst CPU consuming plugs in an empty track, then use Tape It to capture your CPU chocking. :-o
It's a COOL stuttering effect. :hihi:

And if you have some extra time on your hand you can try the one and only "transitional effects" captured by Tape It while you suddenly unplug the power from the computer.

Next weeks tip is a special one, I can't disclose it but I can tell you it involves water and a hammer.

That is the only way to make it stop once it has started.
