not that i know of ... sorry ...
(never found it to be an issue here - but then i use a contour shuttle pro and have the jog wheel functions mapped to allow fast (and precise) playhead positioning)

Honestly I've never had a problem with this at all. You can still place the playhead by clicking on a closed midi clip and dragging. Usually I only have the midi clip I'm working on expanded, so I can use the track above or below to move the playhead if I need to.

damn! how did you set up the jog to the cursor!? is that possible via tascam us428?

dunno ... the contour shuttle pro just uses key assignments so i just mapped arrow keys to jog left / right ...rpc9943 wrote:damn! how did you set up the jog to the cursor!? is that possible via tascam us428?
