Coltrane and Ellington are marvelous for sure, but I think Miles, Coltrane, Evans, Adderley, Chambers, and Cobb make a nice ensemble.

Haven't you learned anything about being a musical subculture curmudgeon? If no one's heard of it, it's the greatest thing ever. Until it gets popular. Then you've never liked it.

Things my two brothers and other now-it-all people said:
1. All electronic music is S H I T, hell it's not even music its just noise!

Shows how much they now about music!

2. I know how a rock record should sound like !
My brother meant that you should sqash it like hell with some exteme compression and limiting (of course he has no clue what these mean, but I know he was thinking of that), I was trying to convince him that less compressed not so loud music is better

3. Goa/Psytrance is a collection of random blips blops and effects !
LOL anyone who says that needs more weed or just a better understanding of music in general.
Sure you may not like the genre or those blips and blops but it defenitly not random.
