Hi,
With the new Wusikstation, we can now rearrange our soundsets into sub folders, and this is very handy for me. However, that means that EVE ONE can't read them. Can you make EVE ONE support subdirectories please?

we are thinking about that, <grin>
would you (any user) subdirectories support for wusikSND only or for DASHsnd too?
honestly it doens't seem necessary to me for DASHsnd

I don't need it for DASHsnd, and TBH, after using it for a few days like this, without WusikSND files in my EVE ONE directory, I don't mind at all. I might just convert the few vintage soundsets that I really want for EVE ONE to DASHSnd...sometimes less is more!

Just get EVE ONE free, and you will see exactly what EVE ONE is. It doesn't have 'presets', but ships with a few 'configurations' in the sound wizard and the fx wizard.ttoz wrote:another question. does eve ONE come with any PRESETS of it's OWN? since it doesn't read the soundset ones.

and it can't load EVE 1.8 presets, because it only has one sample slot, whareas EVE has three. It is a totally unrelated product to what you are asking for.

It is great if there will be a mac version, it is am AWESOME little synth with a great collection of soundsets available. One of my collaborators is on mac, so this is extra good news for me too.

Theo, if I understand you correctly, the preset incompatability between EVE ONE and EVE is because EVE ONE has only one soundset layer as opposed to EVE's 3. Therefore, preset compatability is impossible. On the other hand, you get more and I think better effects in EVE ONE, and a multimode filter. It's quick and easy to program, I've never used the Wizard, actually. But I think that it's a great synth for straight ahead simple sample playback synthesis in that you can quickly and intuitively select your soundset and mangle away with distortion, filtering, phasing and delay. Well worth the money, and a great way to get a new take on all those DASHsnds and WusikSNDS.ttoz wrote:ok, i just WISH it had the OPTION of playing the eve presets.
like the melohman performer is to melohman, a dedicated player.
Consdiering the ultra light cpu usage........
and Liqih could even offer this version only to those who have also bought the full EVE, so as he doesn't think it's taking away from EVE sales.
but in reality, why not have EVE ONE do it's soundwizard thing AND play all the wusik and dash presets as an option.
I guess I just don't get it.

it could be useful. I creat my own DASHsnd so subdirectories support for this files could be useful, but not essentialwould you (any user) subdirectories support for wusikSND only or for DASHsnd too?
honestly it doens't seem necessary to me for DASHsnd

I don't think that DASH subdirectories are as important as the ability to read Wusik subdirectories. On the other hand, might one be brought into being as the byproduct of implimenting the other?
