man do I disagree with you on this!!!

And why should it? Frits Nielsen (Podium's developer) designed guis for TC before he started his own company! ;-)

I still like Logics arrange and mixing pages. Probably even prefer the look of the 5.5.1 version which I'm still using over the latest 7.1 one.

This is roughly what I have on my two 17" monitors (arrange left, mixer right) at 1280x1024.
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

Yeah, I like it too, probably the greatest feature of the mixer environment is the auto-expanding channels, and the integrated plugin selector. I couldn't stand having to open a separate window in SX just to load an instrument! Clutter!!

I love the Live environment too :)

I still can't stand older Logic versions (prior to 7)...7.1 rocks though :)

You know I love to post screenies! :-D

had no time today... (i.e. was to lazy...)

(even used an old eXT screenshot today when I felt the need to post one... - usually they're brand-new from the factory :hihi:)

That new Logic looks very clear and usable, and as opposed to other mac apps it's almost visually pleasing! But it used to be as ugly as Pro Tools, which must be the worst GUI in audio app history. Especially the mixer. SX & Nuendo look kinda nice but are a nightmare to use.

RMS / Mackie are on the right track with Tracktion, but as stated, there could be an expanded output view as now is with "large input meters".

I love the look of Podium

It does some cool things visually - it'll default with blue if you have your XP set to the blue theme (like in that screenshot a few posts back). I use XP's Olive theme so all the blue stuff in that Podium screenshot is green.

How about this one?
I like dark interfaces like in FL and EnergyXT. :D
