It *is* the full version.todd sweetland wrote:i know its just a demo right?? is the full version better??
RMIV can be a realistic drum vsti. You may not like the included kits, but that doesn't mean it isn't realistic. Why not take this to the Linplug forum and ask if there are any decent third party kits that cover the style of music you create?i want a realistic drum vsti
It'll likely be far cheaper to add kits to RMIV than it is to buy a whole new sampler, and I believe there are a fair few available.

The RMIV in T2 is pretty much the full version. It's missing some MIDI files and only a few kits. My impression of it was that the software was great, and the kits were decent also, but it seemed to me that the mappings and the MIDI files didn't match up in the kits I tried. I got some really wierd rythyms. I'll be trying it again, but for me, the BEST drum setup I have found is the DR-008 with Slicey and Fill-In Drummer.
That being said, with the exception of the mis-mappings(which could have been my fault), it seemed like a very good drum kit. As I said, the software is very capable, even if you don't use the included kits.

I like the Manytone acoustic kits a lot, luvly snare it has and pretty nifty production overall (as in it sounds real to me), but don't know if they ship with the Tracktion version?

Hi
Correct ....The Manytone Acoustic Kits did not ship with the T2 version.
You can get the ManyTone Acoustic Drums and Percussions on our website for only $35.00 and we throw in 12 Big - 24 bit Electric Kits for Free!
Thanks for the Kind words pakana! There are actually 15 different Multisampled snares in the package!

Hey, the manytone kits that are missing are only about 1/10 of the whole content, and they are the only kits missing. Just for the record, I don't think you are missing out on much, but it of course depends on the type of drum sounds you want.todd sweetland wrote:i knew something was missing, because nobody made a big deal bout the rmiv plug, when t2 got released, obviously there is some kits missing...
I prefer the TEG close miked, and some of the KKS kits in RMIV. I also find some of the free kits available to have just as good or better sounds- do a search for Natural studio kit 7, Easyrider, Ruffrider, and the Tchakapoum kits, or I will find the links later.
If you want some idea of how much content is missing from the full version, check the size of your RMIV kits folder- I have the full RMIV latest version and mine is 1.19 gigs.

NS Kit is really good, and well worth the time to download.
