Can anyone explain what happens with a clip if i stretch it to tempo in T2 then?
Is it bit reduced or what? Cannot find much in the manual about this.
Is the quality settings for time strech usable?
This area is sort of unexplored to me...
I should do some extreme stretching to test this maybe.
Drums on demand and T2?

Not sure who told you that but they shouldn't have.Mauvehead wrote:I mentioned yesterday on another thread that I talked to a Mackie tech prior to purchasing T2 about the whole Rex2 compatibility issue and he volunteered that they were planning on incorporating support for Rex2 and Acid files in Tracktion3.
Why would you think that braj? This is a major undertaking and requires a rewrite of the audio engine. If it was something easy to do, don't you think we would have done it already for T2?braj wrote:So do we have to wait for T3 before there is Acid support?...I was sure this would be a point release type thing.

I dunno, I thought Tracktion would try to come up to par with the other pro apps with T2 in what now seems a standard feature on even hobby-level sequencing packages. Perhaps with a plug that does this or maybe by licensing a good timestretch from another company. I personally didn't think it would take a whole point release. My bad, sorry.Beno wrote:Not sure who told you that but they shouldn't have.Mauvehead wrote:I mentioned yesterday on another thread that I talked to a Mackie tech prior to purchasing T2 about the whole Rex2 compatibility issue and he volunteered that they were planning on incorporating support for Rex2 and Acid files in Tracktion3.![]()

No worries Braj. I didn't mean to come accross as being harsh. I just wanted to make sure I hadn't been misleading.

I don't remember the name. The best I can desribe the person was "male". It was a tech support call so I never saw the guy otherwise I'd offer a visual profile of some sort.
