I am cleaning out tracktion's VST folders to speed up the scan and I notice that lots of synthedit creation have .SEP and .SEM files. Can I throw these away or are they files the plugs will need?
(Thanks guys the synthedit forum seems to be down)

you can erase them, but they'll reappear as soon as you use the vst plug again.
(as far as I know)

Delete them if you want: they will be created again next time the plug is run (or the folder is scanned, not sure which).
.sep and .sem files are just .dll's in disguise and are embedded in the VST dll.. but apparently they can't be run directly from there and need to be loaded from disk instead. Don't ask me why..
