I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride my bike! bicycle! bicycle!
I need a new soundcard at some point here as well, I'm thinking of getting the Audiophile 2496 because I'm poor.

Audiowerk8 soundcard- it's a bit long in the tooth as these things go, but it's still working perfectly and sounding good 7 years after I bought it, so I have no reason to change.
Mackie 1202VLZPro- bought same time as as the card, used for both home recording and live sound at punk gigs, so yes bombproof build and four of the best mic preamps you'll get in a mixer for the money.

I use an Edirol UA-1000 (which today announced it will be compatible with macs very soon, not that I use one though). It is very powerful, and I LOVE IT. Its preamps are VERY clean. I know everybody has their own opinions, but I would pay alot of money just for the quality of pre's on that thing.
And Tracktion of course....so...no mixer

Hey Daniel,
I have a Delta 66 that I am no longer using. I thought about selling it on ebay but.......I would happily give it to you if you would like it??? Just P.M. me with your mailing info. I have not used it in a year or so but I am sure it works just fine. You will need to get the software off the net, as I am sure they have new drivers by now.

drivers aren't a problem I don't think (certainly not with XP anyway).

Daisy, Daisy,
Give me your answer do!
I'm half crazy,
All for the love of you!
It won't be a stylish marriage,
I can't afford a carriage
But you'll look sweet upon the seat
Of a bicycle made for two.

It's a Trek 930 hard-tail, with about 1500 miles on it. Great bike!

Push me off to start the fun
On a bike ride to the moon
Lots of room for everyone
On a bike ride to the moon
And we'll bring back cheese for my Auntie Jane
And some magic moon dust that'll stop the rain
On my poor Uncle Alfred's head, even though he stays in bed (silly Alfred)
Why not bring a pot of tea
On a bike ride to the moon
Angel cake for you and me
On a bike ride to the moon
And we'll pack a tent 'case it's cold at night
And I'll share your sleeping bag if I might
And might be a positive boon
To protect you from the man in the moon
(Who happens to be me, look out!)
Racing forward can't look back
On a bike ride to the moon
What did I omit to pack
On a bike ride to the moon?
With the stars all glinting in the shiny Chrome
Then I suddenly remembered what I left at home
Now I shan't be peddling any higher
'Cos a sharp sputnik has given me a cosmic flat tyre
On a bike ride to the moon

LynxOne - purchased for its really excellent quality (particularly compared to others on the market when I purchased it some seven years ago - and still up with the best). Cost around $500 - not cheap, especially then, but worth every penny and I have never regretted the purchase!daniel- wrote:I must buy another soundcard (mine is bad quality).
- What is your soundcard ? Nice (why this choice) ? And the cost ?
Until fairly recently I had a Soundcraft Folio SX - excellent mixer for the money. Now I am running a Yamaha 01x - mainly because I wanted an automated controller. If you were to buy something like the Yamaha, you wouldn't need a soundcard (the 01x is an audio interface as well). To a large extent it makes my soundcard redundant, but I still use the LynxOne for critical work (my main business is audio restoration). Cost - in the region of $1,000 - extremely cost effective - soundcard, mixer and hardware controller, all rolled into one and great value for money.daniel- wrote:I must also change my mixer, because my old mixer is dead (studiomaster)![]()

I have a bicycle, but it's too damned hot in Spain to ride it at this time of the yeardaniel- wrote:I must also change my bicycle, because... and so on.
